DISCUSSION

Staff will provide a verbal update on the following items:

 

1.                     Santa Clara and Cupertino jointly applied with the VTA for EPA grant funding to support the City’s Silicon Valley Hopper On-Demand Microtransit Program

2.                     January 30, 2024:

a.                     Council approved an Award of Contract for the Bassett and Laurelwood Bicycle Lane Project. Note: Work to begin in April 2024.

3.                     March 19, 2024:

a.                     Council approved an Award of Contract for the Great America Parkway and Mission College Boulevard Intersection Improvements Project. Note: Upcoming April 8 community construction coordination meeting.

4.                     March 27, 2024:

a.                     Silicon Valley Hopper information class at the Senior Center

5.                     March 25, 2024, and April 3, 2024:

a.                     Upcoming City Council Priority Setting Sessions

6.                     April 11, 2024:

a.                     Earth Day/Arbor Day
