BACKGROUND
As presented to the Santa Clara Stadium Authority (SCSA) Board during an informational Study Session on April 24, 2018 and again as a General Business item on May 8, 2018, SCSA staff and Forty Niners Stadium Management Company (ManCo) staff have been negotiating terms for an Assignment and Assumption Agreement to BAHC for the CFP 2019 National Championship Game Agreement. SCSA and ManCo have reached agreement on the terms.
Due to the high number of applicants for the vacant City Council Seat #5, as well as the agenda items related to the FY 2018-19 Budget that require approval on June 12 to prepare for the next fiscal year, staff is recommending to continue this item to the June 26, 2018 Council and Authorities Concurrent meeting. Staff coordinated this request by through the Stadium Authority Executive Director who advised the Stadium Manager in the early morning of June 8, 2018 and no response was provided regarding the request to continue.

Continue the Approval of the Assignment and Assumption Agreement related to 2019 College Football Playoff National Championship at Levi's Stadium to the June 26, 2018 Council and Authorities Concurrent meeting (Stadium Authority).
