REPORT TO COUNCIL
SUBJECT
Title
Action on a Resolution Revising the Council and Authorities/Stadium Authority Regular Meetings Dates for the 2019 Calendar Year

Report
BACKGROUND
On September 11, 2018, the Council set the Council and Authorities/Stadium Authority regular meeting dates for the 2019 calendar year. Pursuant to Charter Sec. 707, the City Council shall hold regular meetings at least twice each month.

DISCUSSION
Due to the cancelation of the January 22, 2019 meeting, it is recommended that the Council adopt a Resolution revising the Council and Authorities/Stadium Authority regular meeting dates for the 2019 calendar year to reflect the cancelation of the January 22, 2019 Council and Authorities regular meeting and to set January 15, 2019 as a Council and Authorities regular meeting.

A copy of the Resolution and the Revised Council and Authorities Meetings 2019 is attached.

There has recently been some confusion regarding the 10-day Ordinance pertaining to when the calendar postings for certain City officials should occur. To clarify, a copy of the Ordinance is attached as well as the calendar indicating the dates of when the calendars are to be posted.

The action being considered does not constitute a "project" within the meaning of the California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA") pursuant to CEQA Guidelines section 15378(b)(5) in that it is a governmental organizational or administrative activity that will not result in direct or indirect changes in the environment.

FISCAL IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact other than administrative time and expense to cancel and set the meetings.

COORDINATION
This report has been coordinated with the City Attorney's Office.
