Recognition of Outgoing Councilmember Patrick Kolstad

BACKGROUND
Councilmember Patrick Kolstad was elected in November of 2010 and then re-elected in November of 2014. Prior to serving on the Council for the last two four-year terms, Mr. Kolstad served on the Council from 2000-2008. He also served in the Santa Clara Police Department for 31 years.
DISCUSSION
In recognition of outgoing Councilmember Patrick Kolstad for his service on the City Council, the Mayor and Council will present him with a City Proclamation, City plaque, City clock, and a City street sign at the beginning of the regular Council meeting.
The City also scheduled a Farewell Coffee Celebration honoring outgoing Councilmember Patrick Kolstad on December 4, 2018, from 2 pm to 4 pm, in the City Hall Council Chambers.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no cost to the City other than staff time.

Public contact was made by posting the Council agenda on the City’s official-notice bulletin board outside City Hall Council Chambers. A complete agenda packet is available on the City’s website and in the City Clerk’s Office at least 72 hours prior to a Regular Meeting and 24 hours prior to a Special Meeting.
