Report

BACKGROUND

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the City cancelled the March 23, 2020 and the June 22, 2020 Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) meetings. In order to provide the BPAC with timely information related to BPAC annual workplan items, the City issued a June 22, 2020 Informational Report to the BPAC (Attachment 1), which presented information related to the following topics: 

 

A. 20-654                      Santa Clara Police Department Update

B. 20-65                      Central Expressway Bikeway Study

C. 20-289                      El Camino Real Specific Plan Update

D. 20-290                      Creek Trail Network Expansion Master Plan Update

E. 20-656                      VTA BPAC Update

F. 20-291                      Grant Activity

G. 20-292                      Bike Trail Signage

H. 20-293                      Measure B Funding Recommendations Follow-up

I. 20-294                      Standards

J. 20-295                      Pruneridge Complete Streets Plan Update

K. 20-336                      Way Finding Follow-up

 

Additionally, on July 1, 2020 the City received the attached comments (Attachment 2) from BPAC Member Donoghue. The purpose of this BPAC agenda item it to include the June 22, 2020 informational report and Member Donoghue’s comments into the record of the BPAC and to offer opportunities for the BPAC to discuss these items.
