DISCUSSION
Staff requests a continuance of this item to the September 11, 2024, Planning Commission meeting to allow additional time for review and preparation of the appeal and related documents. The applicant and appellant were informed of the continuance and are amenable to having this item heard at the September 11, 2024, Planning Commission meeting.
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
No environmental determination is necessary for a continuance. An environmental determination will be included with the September 11th staff report.
PUBLIC CONTACT
On August 8, 2024, notice of this item was mailed to property owners within 300 feet of the project site. Should the Commission open the public hearing and then continue the hearing for this project to September 11, 2024, additional noticing will not be required.
RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
Staff recommends that the Planning Commission open the public hearing on this item and then immediately continue the appeal hearing to September 11, 2024.
