DISCUSSION
The project is a staff-initiated clean-up action for the Zoning Map for four contiguous parcels located at 3108-3118 McKinley Drive. Each of the four parcels are developed with duplexes. The subject parcels were incorrectly rezoned R1-6L Single-Family Residential, consistent with the applicable General Plan land use designation. The City is proposing to amend the General Plan land use designation to Low Density Residential (8-19 DU/AC) and to change the Zoning to R2 Low-Density Residential to reflect existing uses.

Staff is requesting a continuance of this item to allow additional time for review and preparation of related documents.

ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
No environmental determination is necessary for a continuance. An environmental determination will be included with the report when it comes forward to the Planning Commission.

PUBLIC CONTACT
Public contact was made by posting the Planning Commission agenda on the City's official-notice bulletin board outside City Hall Council Chambers. A complete agenda packet is available on the City's website and in the City Clerk's Office at least 72 hours prior to a Regular Meeting and 24 hours prior to a Special Meeting. A hard copy of any agenda report may be requested by contacting the City Clerk's Office at (408) 615-2220, email clerk@santaclaraca.gov or at the public information desk at any City of Santa Clara public library.

Additional posting will be mailed to property owners within 300 feet of the project site when a future Planning Commission meeting date is determined.

RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
