Title
Recognition of the 2026 Mission Meets the Moment Campaign Sponsors
Report
BACKGROUND
In 2026, Santa Clara experienced an extraordinary year as the City welcomed the world for Super Bowl LX and six FIFA World Cup 2026 matches at Levi’s Stadium.
To ensure that this global moment was also a celebration for the community, the City launched “Where the Mission Meets the Moment,” a community engagement campaign connecting Santa Clara’s history with the excitement and opportunity surrounding these international events.
The campaign celebrated Santa Clara’s residents, businesses, history, innovation, diversity, and community pride through a series of free community events and experiences, including A Day on the Field, the STEM Zone, Night Markets, and Watch Parties.
DISCUSSION
The success of “Where the Mission Meets the Moment” was made possible through strong partnerships with community sponsors.
Throughout the year, sponsors stepped forward to invest in Santa Clara and support opportunities for residents to gather, celebrate, and experience this historic moment together. Their contributions helped expand the reach and impact of the campaign and assisted in bringing the City's vision to life across the community.
As the campaign ends, City Council recognizes that its success was not solely measured by the events themselves, but by the partnerships and community connections created along the way.
The City of Santa Clara extends its sincere appreciation to the sponsors who helped make 2026 a year to remember. Their generosity, partnership, and belief in Santa Clara helped demonstrate what is possible when the public and private sectors come together around a shared vision.
The City thanks our sponsors for helping Santa Clara meet the moment and making sure the moment belonged to the community.
