POINTS FOR CONSIDERATION
* The proposed project is in a residential tract consisting of both one- and two-story residences. See Vicinity Map in Attachment 1.
* The site is currently developed with a 2,124 square-foot one-story ranch style single-family residence constructed in 1970.
* Per the Santa Clara City Code 18.120(1) (a), the request requires Architectural Review approval through a Development Review Hearing due to the addition of a fifth bedroom.
* The project proposes a 619 square-foot addition to an existing 2,124 square-foot single-story residence. The renovations and additions affect the front elevation of the house. The renovated residence incorporates contemporary elements with stucco cladding, stone veneer, wood siding, and composite shingle roofing. The roof profile and entryway to the residence changes in the front to accommodate the addition.
