DISCUSSION
As the date of publication of the agenda for the February 18, 2026, Charter Review Committee Meeting, the following Ad Hoc Subcommittees were able to schedule and hold meetings:
• Group Two: City Council: Elections, Powers and Conduct of Meetings
o February 9, 2026
• Group Four: Boards and Commissions: Composition, Powers and Duties
o February 12, 2026
• Group Six: Fiscal Administration and Procurement
o February 4, 2026
City Attorney staff made presentations at each of these meetings. The PowerPoint used for staff’s presentations are attached to this report. Minutes from these meetings are still being prepared as of the date of publication and will be uploaded when available. Staff members, with assistance from staff, will report out to the full Charter Review Committee on the substance of these meetings.
Subcommittees that did not meet may also wish to report out on the status and plans for making progress on their sections.
