DISCUSSION
The attached “action” minutes are presented to the Charter Review Committee (CRC) Board for review and approval.
The “action” meeting minutes for the May 27, 2026, June 3, 2026, and June 17, 2026 meetings will be made available as supplemental material on Monday September 14, 2026.
Action will also be solicited to excuse absent members from meetings that they were unable to attend due to scheduling conflicts or other exigencies. The full list of proposed excusals will be presented at the meeting.
Since this is the last official meeting of the CRC, authorization is also requested for delegation of authority to the CRC Chair to work with staff to review and approve the meeting minutes from the September 16, 2026 meeting.
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
This is item does not constitute a “project” under the California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA") and therefore no environmental review is required.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact to the City other than staff time.

Public contact was made by posting the Charter Review Committee agenda on the City’s official-notice bulletin board outside City Hall Council Chambers. A complete agenda packet is available on the City’s website and in the City Clerk’s Office at least 72 hours prior to a Regular Meeting and 24 hours prior to a Special Meeting.
