Report
BACKGROUND
Staff collaborated with the Economic Development and Marketing Committee (EDMC) on the Where the Mission Meets the Moment campaign to support the community through the Major Community Events (MCE) program in 2026. The City also worked with local organizations to support and amplify approved partner-led events under the campaign.

The Silicon Valley New Year Together Celebration, one of the largest multicultural Lunar New Year festivals and night markets in Silicon Valley, was held January 31-February 1, 2026, in Santa Clara.
