DISCUSSION

Staff will provide a verbal update on traffic engineering projects and programs related to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Committee including the following:

 

Plans/Studies:

                     Creek Trail Network Expansion Master Plan

                     Stevens Creek Boulevard Vision Study (Joint study with San Jose, Cupertino, VTA, and County of Santa Clara)

                     Benton Street Bikeway Study

                     De La Cruz Boulevard/Coleman Avenue Bikeway Study

                     Monroe Street Class II Buffered Bicycle Study

                     Walsh Avenue/Martin Avenue Bikeway Study

 

Programs:

                     Safe Routes to School Program

                     Shared Mobility Program (Bicycle and Scooter Share Permit)

                     SV Hopper Service (On-Demand Electric Micro-Transit Service)

                     Upgrading Pedestrian Signal and Luminaire Lighting at Traffic Signals to LED

                     Traffic Inquires (stop signs, traffic calming, parking)
