POINTS FOR CONSIDERATION
* The proposed project is in a residential tract consisting of both one- and two-story residences. See Vicinity Map in Attachment 1.
* The site is currently developed with a 2,047 square foot one-story single-family residence.
* Per the Santa Clara City Code 18.120(D)(7), the request requires Architectural Review approval through a Development Review Hearing due to the demolition of the existing structure.
* The existing 2,047 square foot home on the site will be demolished to make way for the construction of a new 2,773 square-foot one-story single-family residence. The new residence is designed as a contemporary midcentury modern one-story four-bedroom two-and-a-half-bathroom residence with painted wood siding, aluminum fluted siding cladding, breezeblock entry feature, and flat roof.
