POINTS FOR CONSIDERATION
* The proposed project is in a residential tract consisting of both one- and two-story residences. See Vicinity Map in Attachment 1.
* The site is currently developed with a 1,388 square-foot one-story single-family mid-century modern ranch-style residence constructed in 1961.
* Per the Santa Clara City Code 18.120(D)(1a), the request requires Architectural Review approval through a Development Review Hearing due to the addition of a fifth bedroom.
* The project proposes a 1,093 square-foot addition to the existing 1,388 square-foot single story single-family residence. The renovated residence is designed as a contemporary one-story five-bedroom four-bathroom residence with light grey stucco cladding, wood roll-up garage door, and composite shingle roof.
