BACKGROUND
Senate Bill 1205 (SB 1205), enacted by the State of California in September 2018 in response to the tragic Oakland Ghost Ship fire of December 2016, serves as a pivotal measure in enhancing fire safety oversight and accountability statewide for high-risk occupancies.
