o The property is part of Tract No. 1291, Hermosa Gardens. This tract was certified in March 1954 and includes portions of Flannery Street, Hamilton Lane, and Woodhams Road.
o At this time, there are no identified historically significant properties in the vicinity, the closest being the Azzarello Residence built in 1920 at 3023 Homestead Road, approximately 1,000 feet from the subject site.
o There is no indication that this property was associated with John Calder Mackay, an established developer associated with mid-century modern structures in the south bay area, including Santa Clara during the 1950s.
o While the age of the home may make the property potentially historic, at this time there is no evidence that the property is of historically or architecturally significance.
