BACKGROUND
The City Council has invited the Parks & Recreation Commission to a joint meeting to share the accomplishments from the past year and discuss current work plan items. The Joint Dinner is scheduled for Tuesday, April 9, 2024, in the Council Chambers.

The Chair and Vice Chair jointly prepared a draft presentation that the Chair will present to the City Council at the Joint Dinner.

DISCUSSION
The purpose of this item is for the Commission to preview the presentation scheduled to be given to the City Council on April 9, 2024. The draft presentation is to be provided to the Commissioners at the regular meeting of the Parks & Recreation Commission on March 19, 2024. The Commission will review, may make edits, and approve the content of the draft presentation.

ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
The action being considered does not constitute a "project" within the meaning of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines section 15378(b)(5) in that it is a governmental organizational or administrative activity that will not result in direct or indirect changes in the environment.

FISCAL IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact to the City other than administrative staff time.
