Recognize Local Student for Achievement in the Telugu Book of Records and Super Kids of India

BACKGROUND
In April 2021, the Telugu Book of Records and Super Kids of India recognized local student Akyuta Batchu for her recitation by memory of all US states within 27 seconds, and of the names of 196 countries by continent within one (1) minute 50 seconds.
DISCUSSION
As a Special Order of Business on May 25, 2021, the Santa Clara City Council will honor this remarkable achievement by presenting a Certificate of Special Mayor Recognition, which will be accepted by Akyuta and her family.

This is an information report only and no action is being taken by the City Council; no environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act (“CEQA”) is required.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact to the City other than staff time.
