BACKGROUND
The Santa Clara Sister Cities Association (SCSA) is a nonprofit organization supported by the City of Santa Clara. The organization was established in 1972. Each year, the SCSCA provides opportunities for both Santa Clara students and students from their Sister Cities to experience each other's culture on a firsthand basis. SCSCA has high school student exchange programs; a junior high exchange program with Izumo, Japan; and music and art exchange programs.
