Santa Clara Station Area Task Force Review of the Station Plaza with VTA and Design Guidelines/Standards Next Steps

BACKGROUND
At the July 17, 2025, Station Area Task Force (SATF) meeting WRT presented an outline of the draft Urban Design, Streetscape, and Open Space Standards. In addition, the SATF discussed the proposed design of the station plaza.
DISCUSSION
WRT will present the proposed Station Plaza design for discussion, incorporating considerations from the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) as the property owner. VTA staff will be present at the meeting to provide additional context and respond to any questions related to the site.
WRT will also provide an update on the draft design guidelines and standards.
