BACKGROUND
Owner Chris Leahy first opened Mission City Creamery on January 5, 2013. After serving the community for five years, Mission City Creamery closed its family-owned business on February 16, 2018.
DISCUSSION
As a Special Order of Business at the March 6, 2018 Council Meeting, the City Council would like to present a proclamation to Chris Leahy in recognition of Mission City Creamery’s closing. Mission City Creamery has served the community and has employed students from several local high schools.
PUBLIC CONTACT
Public contact was made by posting the Council agenda on the City’s official-notice bulletin board outside City Hall Council Chambers. A complete agenda packet is available on the City’s website and in the City Clerk’s Office beginning the Thursday evening before the Tuesday meeting.
