BACKGROUND
Relay for Life is the signature fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. The proceeds from Relay for Life go towards life-saving cancer research studies, crucial patient care programs, and education and prevention. Santa Clara Relay for Life will host its annual race on April 28, 2018 at Santa Clara University.
DISCUSSION
As a Special Order of Business, representatives from the 2018 Santa Clara Relay for Life will share the mission of the American Cancer Society and Relay for Life, discuss the recent history of the Relay for Life in Santa Clara, and provide an update on the annual race and upcoming events.
