Report
BACKGROUND
The City of Santa Clara's 8th Biennial Indoor Sculpture Exhibition opened to the public on April 9, 2018, with a display of 22 artworks at City Hall and the Central Park Library. This year's theme, "Out of the Darkness, Light", inspired multiple artists to incorporate LED, electro-luminescent wire, and fiber-optic light features in their sculptures. The Sculpture Exhibition runs through June 15, 2018.

Also a Burning Man participant, Jeffrey has displayed his art for many years in the public realm, including Lights Out Pier 70 in San Francisco, East Bay Maker Faire, and the 3rd International Exhibition of New Media Art at the CICA Museum in Gimpo, South Korea.

Honorable Mention: Dotti Cichon's "Metaphysical Cosmology-Origin of the Universe/Fundamental Nature of Being" is a plexiglass half-globe of constellations which interactively displays a video of the cosmos, and incorporates fiber optic strands in the sculpture. The sculpture is currently on display at the Central Park Library. Dotti has an extensive curriculum vitae which includes international shows in the US, Hunga...
