Title
Action on an Amendment No. 1 to Agreement with Arini Geographics, LLC for Enterprise GIS Services to extend the term of the agreement by ten months with no additional contract funding required.

Report
BACKGROUND
On July 14, 2015, Arini Geographics, LLC (Arini) was awarded an agreement to provide Enterprise Geographic Information System (GIS) services, with a contract total not to exceed $3,000,000. The initial contract term was for three years, ending on August 30, 2018. Arini was selected through a competitive RFP process that included a multi-department review and selection process.

Arini has provided Enterprise GIS services that include data gathering, analysis, mapping, and reporting citywide. Arini's outstanding service during their contract term has been demonstrated by the completion of a large number of innovative projects in the City, introducing new business processes, and supporting enterprise solutions to promote business, communications, transparency and shared information.

It is anticipated that they will end the current contract term, there will be approximately $750,000 remaining in their approved authorization. Due to various Citywide priorities that have impacted department timelines and resources available for the project, additional time is required for Arini to complete planned projects and continue to support the City.

The proposed Amendment No. 1 would extend the term of the Agreement by ten months, ending on June 30, 2019, with no additional funds requested.
