BACKGROUND
City Librarian Hilary Keith has announced her intention to retire effective July 2020. As part of the recruitment process, the City Manager is conducting stakeholder meetings to solicit input on desired characteristics and community priorities for the next City Librarian.
DISCUSSION
The purpose of this item will be to discuss and make recommendations to the City Manager on the desired attributes and community priorities for the next City Librarian.

Public contact was made by posting the Board agenda on the City’s official-notice bulletin board outside City Hall Council Chambers.
