Action on a Resolution Revising the Council and Authorities/Stadium Authority Regular Meetings Dates for the 2020 Calendar Year [Council Pillar: Enhance Community Engagement and Transparency]

BACKGROUND
On September 24, 2019 the Council set the Council and Authorities/Stadium Authority regular meeting dates for the 2020 calendar year. On December 10, 2019, the City Council adopted a Resolution revising the Council and Authorities/Stadium Authority regular meeting dates for the 2020 calendar year. Pursuant to Charter Sec. 707, the City Council shall hold regular meetings at least twice each month.

DISCUSSION
Due to the cancelation of the April 14, 2020 and April 21, 2020 Council and Authorities Concurrent meetings, it is recommended that the Council adopt a Resolution revising the Council and Authorities/Stadium Authority regular meeting dates for the 2020 calendar year to reflect the cancelation of the April 14, 2020 and April 21 Council and Authorities regular meetings and to set April 7, 2020 and April 28 as Council and Authorities regular meetings.

A copy of the Resolution and the Revised Council and Authorities/Stadium Authority Meetings 2020 is attached.

ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
The action being considered does not constitute a "project" within the meaning of the California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA") pursuant to CEQA Guidelines section 15378(b)(5) in that it is a governmental organizational or administrative activity that will not result in direct or indirect changes in the environment.

FISCAL IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact other than administrative time and expense to cancel and set the meetings.

This report has been coordinated with the City Attorney's Office.
