BACKGROUND
On November 19, 2020 Anthony Becker submitted a resignation letter from the Planning Commission effective December 7th, 2020 as he was elected to the City Council.
On December 3, 2020, Sudhanshu Jain submitted a resignation letter from the Planning Commission effective December 7, 2020 as he was elected to the City Council.
DISCUSSION
On December 8, 2020 the City Council will ratify the November 3, 2020 General Municipal Election results in which both Anthony Becker and Sudhanshu Jain were elected. The City Council has received both their resignation letters from the Planning Commission (Attachment 1 and 2).
In January 2021, staff will present the follow up actions required to appoint new Planning Commissioners.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no additional cost to the City other than administrative staff time and expense.

Public contact was made by posting the Council agenda on the City’s official-notice bulletin board outside City Hall Council Chambers. A complete agenda packet is available on the City’s website and in the City Clerk’s Office at least 72 hours prior to a Regular Meeting and 24 hours prior to a Special Meeting.
