BACKGROUND
On September 1, 2021, Teresa Sulcer submitted the attached resignation from the Cultural Commission effective immediately. This resignation has created one vacancy on the Commission for a partial-term ending June 30, 2023.

On May 27, 2021 the Council conducted interviews for the Cultural Commission and established an eligibility list from those interviewed which is set to expire in November, six months from the date the list was created. The council voted and approved an automatic appointment of Siddarth Sundaram should a vacancy occur. Staff reached out to Siddarth Sundaram to inquire if there was still an interest to serve on the Commission. Siddarth Sundaram affirmatively expressed an interest to serve on the Commission.

DISCUSSION
Accept the resignation submitted by Commissioner Teresa Sulcer; declare the vacancy on the Cultural Commission for a partial-term ending June 30, 2023; and appoint Siddarth Sundaram to fill the partial-term from the Council approved eligibility list.
