BACKGROUND

In December of 2020, the Library’s previous Assistant City Librarian retired. Recruitment to fill the position began August of 2021. On November 1, 2021, City Librarian Patty Wong announced the appointment of Dolly Goyal as the Library’s new Assistant City Librarian.

 

DISCUSSION

The Board of Library Trustees will be introduced to Dolly Goyal, the new Assistant City Librarian. Ms. Goyal will discuss her background in library services and her goals for working with Library staff and the community.

 

PUBLIC CONTACT

Public contact was made by posting the Council agenda on the City’s official-notice bulletin board outside City Hall Council Chambers. A complete agenda packet is available on the City’s website and in the City Clerk’s Office at least 72 hours prior to a Regular Meeting and 24 hours prior to a Special Meeting.
