BACKGROUND
Annually, the Mayor requests that the City Council appoint members of the City Council to the City and Area Wide/Outside Agency Committees. The full City Council was asked to provide their input on any requests for appointments or changes to appointments.
DISCUSSION
The 2022 proposed City Committees lists are set forth as exhibits to this report as Attachments:

The 2022 proposed appointments are also outlined below. Note the City Committees list includes appointments to the Economic Development, Communications, and Marketing (EDCM) and Governance and Ethics (G&E) Committees, however due to staff departures and staffing vacancies, these committee meetings will be paused for at least the first quarter of 2022 to allow for the Priority Setting Session to occur as well as preliminary 2022/23 Budget discussions.
